Like many believers, I spend time with Abba and ask for a specific word or direction for the new year. There is nothing magical at the beginning or the year but it does give us the sense of a fresh start.
When I do this, I seek His direction for me personally. I don’t usually share this with anyone unless I feel directed to do so. I received this message on December 23, 2024 during my time with Him. It is Christmas Day in 2024 as I write and post this. There is still another week until we enter the new year. I hope He will unfold more directions for 2025, but this is a portion that I believe would benefit other followers of Yeshua.
Beware of Prophecy!
Beware of Prophecy. We see in part. We hear in part. Many will seek their favorite prophet and look for their words to replace Mine. Not all speak for Me. Some speak for themselves. See My scriptures for examples.
See Me in 2025–not prophets, not pastors, or any other titular character.
Some hear My voice, but YOU must know which [voices] are true and which are wolves, or even golden retrievers, in sheep’s clothing.
Yes, Golden Retrievers—a very sweet animal. The person acting as a prophet may be gentle and sincere, but they may be sincerely wrong.
Test The Prophet!
Test the prophet. Test their words. Be in tune with My voice; when you are, the true prophet’s voice will ring clear and resonate.
Some look at the conditions of the world and make predictions based on their personal view and their biases. Even those who do hear Me can taint the world with their own ideas and biases.
Never let the prophetic voice dictate your life. Listen to Me! Hear Me! Follow Me! And they will confirm what I am already saying to you.
Now go and do all that I have commanded you–all that is in your heart–for 2025 will be a year of moving forward for you.
Concluding Thought
The word continues into specifics for me, but I felt impressed to post the first part.
In the last several years, I have learned that just because someone is a guest on a YouTube channel doesn’t mean they are the prophetic voice for the country. We must listen to Him and discern if these voices are speaking for His voice or their own.
